Teen Wheel-Throwing Class for Beginner and Intermediate Students
Centered: Clay + Meditation for Youth
WEDNESDAYS 4:30-6:30pm | APRIL 16 - MAY 14
Centered classes are an all levels exploration of pottery and meditation. If you have never touched clay, it’s been a long time, or you’re just looking to refresh your skills join us for this all levels class for teens ages 12-17. We will explore a new meditation technique each week while focusing on centering on the wheel, throwing and hand-building.
All materials and tools are provided.

THURSDAYS 1pm-4pm | APRIL 17-MAY 15
Centered classes are an all levels exploration of pottery and meditation. If you have never touched clay, it’s been a long time, or you’re just looking to refresh your skills join us for this all levels class for adults. We will explore a new meditation technique each week while focusing on centering on the wheel, throwing and hand-building.
In addition to 15 hours of class time, students are eligible for 5 hours of solo work time to use during designated, monitored studio open hours to continue building their skills and to make progress on their class projects.
Please note that there are no make up classes, but each student will be eligible for independent study after their second class.
All tools and materials are provided.

Adult Handbuildling workshop
Platter Workshop
Saturdays 2-4pm March 29+ April 5 | April 26 + May 10
Join us for this 2 session workshop to learn how to handbuild a platter using a slab with various forms and surface decoration techniques! Come back the next week to glaze your platter.

Adult Handbuilding workshop
From Clay to Bouquet
Saturdays 10A-12p | April 26 + May 10
Handbuild a flower vase and then move on to floral arranging all in the same workshop !
Join us for a 2 week series:
-week 1 use a slab to handbuild your flower vase and tell us how you would like it to be glazed.
-week 2 pick up your vase and receive a demonstration in the basics of flower arranging
Go home with your new flower vase and a beautiful floral arrangement!

5 days of Handbuilding and exploring for ages 7-11
Children’s Summer Camp
Monday - Friday 9a-12p
June 16-20 | July 14-18 | August 4-8
In this class, participants will work on a different project each day of camp including plates with surface decoration, flower vases, jewelry dishes, cups + mugs, and sculptural animals. This summer camp is perfect for kids with a range of experience, including children who have never touched clay.
All materials and tools are provided.

5 days of hand-building and wheel throwing for ages 12-17
Teen’s Summer Camp
Monday - Friday 9a-12p
June 23 - 27 | July 21-25 | August 11-15
In this class, each day we will focus on a new form: Bowls, Cups + Mugs, Plates, Vases. The final day of camp will be using underglazes to decorate all of our previous pieces as well as handbuilding. This summer camp is perfect for teens with a range of experience, including youth who have never touched clay.
All materials and tools are provided.
